A mold bag is a large-area continuous bag shaped material made of two layers of geotextile, with concrete or cement mortar filled inside the bag. After solidification, it forms a solid concrete slab, which is suitable for slope protection. The upper and lower layers of the mold bag are connected by a certain length of nylon rope to control the thickness during filling.
Product Introduction
Geotextile bags are continuous (or individual) bag shaped products made from a double-layer polymer synthetic material. The application of geosynthetic materials in engineering is a new technology that has developed in the past two decades. It was introduced to China in the late 1970s and developed for use. Mold bag concrete is produced by injecting concrete or cement mortar into a mold bag using a high-pressure pump. The thickness of the concrete or cement mortar is controlled by the length of the hanging reinforcement bag and rope (polymer such as nylon) inside the bag. After the concrete or cement mortar solidifies, it forms a plate-like or other structure with certain strength, which can meet the needs of the project. As a new type of building material, geotextile bags can be widely used in protective engineering such as embankment slope protection, bank protection, harbor, dock, etc. for rivers, lakes, and seas.
It has the following advantages:
(1) The construction of geotextile bags adopts one-time sprinkler molding, which is simple and fast in construction.
(2) Geotechnical mold bags can adapt to various complex terrains, especially in deep water revetments, bottom protection, etc., without the need for cofferdam construction. They can be directly constructed underwater with high mechanization, large slope protection surface area, strong integrity, good stability, and long service life.
(3) Geotextile bags have a certain degree of permeability. After concrete or cement mortar is poured in, excess water seeps out through the gaps in the fabric, which can quickly reduce the water cement ratio, accelerate the solidification speed of concrete, and increase the compressive strength of concrete.
